Violet and I are both sporting new spring haircuts. Yes, I know. I said I wasn't going to cut my hair until the end of the summer. I was letting it grow out, blah, blah.
One thing you need to know about me is I'm very honest. I don't even like to tell an itty-bitty lie.
But never, ever believe me when I say I'm letting my hair grow out.
Thanks to everyone who commented on yesterday's post. Honey said this morning, "Oh my goodness, that was the most depressing post in the world."
Well, gee! Sometimes a girl's gotta vent, huh? If he'd just let me move out in the country and he commuted in every day, then I'd have no need for a depressing blog.

I could see the wheels turning in that handsome head as he contemplated a 2-hour commute into work each and every day.
From the look on his face I am sure there will be no more critical comments of my blogging.

Your dog is adorable! I love the new hair! And I agree, sometimes a southern girl just needs to vent!

ROFLOL! at your hubby comment. My blog is off limits to mine. You and Violet look adorable. I could just give both of you a big hug!

Your hair is adorable...I think we've discussed this before. I hate my fine thin hair, yet once again, am on a mission to grow it out. (I have it in my mind that I must have long hair just once in my life before age 40 and that birthday is quickly approaching!) What will I do once it grows out...wear it up! Yup, makes no sense to me either! BTW, Violet is pretty cute too!

Love the new do! I always wished I could have a cute short cut, but my face just doesn't allow it!

You both look fabulous. As far as venting goes...I've been doing a lot of it lately and my blogworld friends have been very patient with me. They keep saying, and they're right, that our blogs can serve MANY purposes and the ability to vent is one of the really important ones. Hang in there.

I love your Spring hair cut:-) I am exactly the opposite, I always say I am going to get my hair cut, but I never do! LOL!

Feel free to vent anytime, it does the body and soul good! And just know that you are among friends here.

I am so glad you stopped by to visit me yesterday, it is very nice to meet you:-)

Oh, girl, I can't tell you how many times that I've said the exact same thing. See, I grew up in a family where DADDY said "all the girls shall have long hair, always". Well, when I got out of high school and got my own job, each paycheck would find me getting an inch or two cut off my hair. My hair was thick, wavy, unmanageable. the time I got married, it was shoulder length. Not long after that it was "Joan Lunden" length. Then, not long after that it was SHORT. And I just can't grow it out, I look like a poofball if I try. So, I always go get it cut short again even when I am determined to grow it out so I can get a cute new the bob. It never works! Your doggie is so cute!

Love your hair! And listen, your blog is for you only. You should vent, rant, complain, whatever you feel like doing. By the way, Washington, D.C. does not know what it's missing by not being your friend. Stupid big city!!!

You both look fabulous. Vent away. I am so relieved that even nice people need to vent that I don't feel as bad (I vent all the time - usually to my kids).

Gorgeous short haircut. You have the right kind of hair to be this short! If I tried that I'd have the biggest mushroom head you've ever seen!

I'll add a bit of a chauvanistic twist here....when times are dodgy, there's nothing like a good haircut and/or shoeshine to lift your spirits.

I've been inside the DC Beltway mostly since 1989...I hear you on the transient, secular, "chilly" nature of this place. Thank God you can get back out to the burbs at the end of a busy day and finally, thank Cracker Barrel for all things fried, fat and ham hock derived.
